I have a ton of old Readers Digest books lying around the garage. I think the covers are just beautiful but I don't really have anywhere to display them so I wanted to find another use for them. I decided to cut off the covers and used them to make a mini album. I just used an exacto knife to cut them away from the book spine. It was really easy. I used my Crop-a-dile to punch holes in each cover. I added tons of cute paper and overlays to it. I loved the way it turned out. I am officially obsessed with using the book covers for mini albums. I can't wait to make another one! Are you currently obsessed with anything?

That is so cool! I love that old design from the book. Way to reuse! I love how it looks now with all those yummy scrapbooking goodies! Thanks for sharing over at born-again crafter.
