Here are some more sneak peeks of my Week In The Life album. I added some photos to the first 3 days and I have the rest of the days still to do. I'm hoping to add some embellishments and extra overlays to the pages once all the photos have been added. I'm really enjoying this project and I would love to so something like this again later in the year. Maybe during the first week of school or during the summer. It's not as time consuming as I thought it would be and I love looking at all of the photos I took. I hope the kids love looking at it over and over again and remember all of the fun things we did during our busy week. I'll post more photos as I continue to put it together. Once it's all done I'll do one big post with the finished album page by page.

Get Messy
I signed up to take this class at Studio Calico. I'm super excited about it! I ordered the main kit and most of the recommended supplies. Everything came in last week and I didn't get a chance to open my happy mail until a few days ago. I was excited to see all of the papers, embellishments, and extras that came with the kit. I was even more excited to get some new supplies that I've never worked with before. Everything is still in the box until I can carve out some time to sit down with my stuff and the class PDF's and videos and create my own little scrapbook masterpiece. Is anyone else getting messy with their scrapbook supplies?
Cinco de Mayo
Our dance studio participated in the local Cinco de Mayo parade today. It was so much fun! The kids had a blast and the community really showed us some love as we drove down the parade route.
Week In The Life-Sneak Peek
I started working on my Week In The Life Album on Monday night. I made a cover page for album and a title page for each day of the week. I just used kraft paper, washi tape, embellishments, and various papers for past Studio Calico kits. I am using an 8.5 x 11 album and two different kinds of page protectors. I even used my sewing machine to add a little stitching around the pages. I liked the way they turned out and I can't wait to get it all done so I can post the finished product. Here are some photos of the pages in their beginning stages. They are completed now but I haven't taken any photos with my camera yet. Those photos will come soon. Until then please enjoy these photos.
