At the merriest place on earth

On Wednesday afternoon we took the kids to the merriest place on earth.  They were surprised and excited to go to Disneyland for a couple of days.  We saw the fireworks show, got snowed on (Disneyland snow not real snow), watched the parade, enjoyed World of Color, and we got on tons of rides. The weather was perfect and the crowds weren't too bad either.  We had our first Yule Log dessert while we were waiting for the World of Color show and I must say we are all fans of that yummy dessert.  We were able to cram in a lot of activities in the short time we were there.  I can't wait to go back.  Here are some photos of our trip.

Cookie Decorating

This week my friend Tori hosted our preschoolers at her house for a mommy and me cookie decorating party.  We had the best time.  There were plates of sugar cookies in the shaped of Christmas trees, stockings, and candy canes.  There was also frosting in lots of colors for the kids to decorate their cookies.  Of course there was also coffee and hot cider for the moms to enjoy while we ate our cookies.  It was one of the highlights of our week.  I still have couple of those yummy cookies in the kitchen and I think one of them in calling my name right now.
