Funny Photos

We like to have fun and act silly sometimes. Actually we like to have fun and act silly most of the time. That's how we roll. Don't hate.

Laundry Mats

Being on vacation doesn't mean that the laundry stops. I had to go to the laundry mat twice this week. Lucky for us there is one located right in the trailer park. Ian went with me on this trip and was fascinated with the giant dryer. He couldn't get enough of the big machine. I wonder if I get one at home will he be more willing to help with laundry? I doubt it.

Thrifty finds

I was able to do some shopping at a few thrift stores today. These lovely treasures got to come home with me. I love vintage luggage so I was over the moon to find this cute suitcase. I think I'm going to use it for scrapbook supplies. Then there is that oh so lovely vintage scale. Yes I know. You hate me for finding something so awesome. Sorry I can't help it. I'm good at finding awesome things. Anyway it will make it's home in my kitchen. I can't wait to find the perfect spot for it. Have you found any thrifty treasures lately?

Feeding squirrels and Flying kites

My kids love to feed peanuts to the squirrels when we come to the beach. They hold the peanut in their hand and the squirrel comes right up to them and takes it and starts eating. Some of these little critters could stand to pass up on the free peanuts. They've become chubby little fellows with all the free food people are feeding them all day long. Anyway, after we did that we took the kids to fly some kites. It was a rather relaxing activity and we all enjoyed it. The kids each had their own kite and managed to keep them in the air and away from each other the whole time. I'm sure we will be doing more of that in the future. All in all it was a good day.
